The application surface should be free of all kinds of dust, dirt and oil. After lightly sanding all the swollen and old painted surfaces, a clean, dry and solid surface should be obtained. If necessary, defects and cracks on the surface should be repaired with Putty. The first layer of Travertine is mixed with 20-25% water and mixed until it becomes homogeneous. It is applied to the entire surface with the help of a travertine trowel. In order for the surface to be smooth, the first layer is left to dry for 1 day after smoothing with a trowel. Before starting the second coat application, the surface is wetted with water with the help of a roller. When a dry surface is obtained, the second layer is applied to the surface with a trowel. Lines are created with the help of the reverse of the trowel on the surface near the drying of the second layer. After enough lines are created, corrections are made with a trowel and left to dry for another day. On the 3rd day, the surface is wetted with water with the help of a roller. which is the last coat without drying completely, is thinned by 25-30% and applied with the help of a special apparatus. Before using the travertine, it should be mixed until it becomes completely homogeneous. Dilute the Travertine enough for you on each floor. Since the product is cement based, it can dry out. During the application and product drying period, the ambient and surface temperature should be between +5ºC and +35ºC. If the application will be made on very glossy and glassy surfaces, the surface should be sanded first to create a solid surface in order to ensure better adhesion.
